Sean King has been pastor of First Christian Church for twelve years, believing in the primacy of Christ and his command to love the Lord and love your neighbor as yourself (being very closely intertwined). If he loves anything more than digging deep into the Word, it is building community with faithful believers - participating in the collaborative living testimony that "God is real, God is good, He's up to something, and we're all invited!"
Sean earned BA's in English and History from Texas Christian University and an MA in Biblical Study and Ministry from Lubbock Christian University. He is married 19 years to Kasity and has two beloved children: Ilya Ruth and Nehemiah Hawkins.
Sean enjoys writing, kayaking, and fishing, but nothing as much as being a husband and father or answering the call to bring Christ to the world.
